Kansas Headquarters Ribbon Cutting

The ribbon is cut on the new Kids Voting USA headquarters at the Kansas Press Association on Thursday, May 21, 2009.  Topeka Mayor Bill Bunten cut the ribbon assisted by Rachel Willis, KVUSA Executive Director, Shawnee County Commissioner Ted Ensley, Kansas Secretary of State Ron Thornburgh and Tom Throne, KPA president.

Esther Baird, a student at Upper Arlington High School (Ohio) learns how to operate electronic voting equipment from trainer Carl Polito.  Youth at the Booth, a collaboration between KV Central Ohio and the Franklin County Board of Elections brought nearly 600 high school students into the polls to serve as election officials for the May 2 primary election.
